Is a Who Is lookup possible?

Hi,

I would lke to capture a domain name from a form then do a Who Is lookup in
order to check that the name servers belong to a particular company.

Can anyone tell me if this can be done and if so, how?

i can tell you that it can be done. i don' t know the query format off hand
but i'm sure its out there somewhere. maybe you can find something at:

You could find domain name and other details of website in http://www.greatstatistics.com/whois.php.
